Honoring Our Ancestors Sound Bath with Helen Halverson
Honoring Our Ancestors Sound Bath
This sacred sound bath immersion is dedicated to our ancestors. We will have a small alter space in front of the sound healing instruments where you may lay your loved ones photo, or fave goody in their honor. We will say a gratitude prayer and then float away on sound bath bliss for 60 minutes. The remainder of our time will be shared over a snack and chit chat, sharing about our ancestors and our own lives! We honor those that came before us. Blessings

90 minute gathering $40
Come and sink into the resonant frequencies of the Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls. This vibrational journey experience will float you into an altered state of consciousness. In this space you are open to many positively powerful influences. This session is a deep immersion into recalibration and creates higher cohesiveness. Please join us for this transformative soundscape.
The particulars:
Please bring a thick mat/lounge chair pad and a warm blanket so that you will be cozy on the floor for the duration. You may arrive up to 5 minutes before the start time to get settled in, but please no sooner. Bringing an open heart and mind with intentions to have a sweet experience will set the tone before you arrive.
During the 90 minute event, you will receive a brief introduction and setting the space before getting settled in, a short guided meditative journey and then the sounds begin. The sound experience itself is about an hour or so. Afterwards you are invited to enjoy tea, water and a healthy snack while chatting with me and your fellows, creating community. If you don't wish to socialize, you may slip away quietly.
How might I feel during and after the sound journey?
Individual experiences will vary. Most people find that they slip into a meditative state, feel deeply relaxed, release tensions and some even fall asleep. After, you may feel energized, sleepy or even emotional. It really depends on your energy and where you are in your life in the days leading up to a sound bath. However you may feel afterward, simply honor it. Rest if you feel tired, enjoy some silence if you feel called to, hydrate plenty, and refuel your body with fresh foods.
Etiquette
Please be aware that you will be in close quarters with other sound bathers. This event is held upstairs, if you require special accommodations, please reach out to me directly. This space is intended to be still and restful so that you and your fellows can sink deeply into a healing zone. Please use the bathroom before the start of the bath, be mindful of your own space and of the individuals around you so that everyone can receive the wellness that they seek from these sound healing journeys. Thank you for helping create an amazing experience.
I look forward to seeing you there!
$40 investment for 90 minutes of beauty. I am experimenting with lower price points for accessibility! Please take advantage of this!

Fire Cider Crafting with Pearl Schuman of Native Zest
Lets make Fire Cider together!
Homemade Fire Cider is great for improving digestion, building immunity, and keeping you and your loved ones well through the seasons.
Fire Cider is a tonic with deep roots in folk medicine that was brought to popularity by the American herbalist and author, Rosemary Gladstar. Fire cider has been consumed traditionally to ward off sore throats, colds, flu, chest congestion, and to promote circulation; which ignites a fire inside and aides the body in detoxification.
We use Apple Cider Vinegar (with Mother) as the base, then add warming, immune and circulatory enhancing, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral foods, and herbs. With time the medicinal properties are extracted into the vinegar.
We will learn the benefits of each ingredient offered, applications and how to make your own Fire Cider at home. All ingredients are included.

Pam encourages visitors to come and connect, celebrate what is going well in our Town, and ways the community can work together to improve to help better their lives and create a strong, resilient and sustainable community that serves all. Main topics will be:
What is the Mayor’s role in the Town of Friday Harbor?
Who is Pamela Hoke?
How is Pamela Hoke uniquely qualified for the job?
Why is Pamela Hoke running for this position?
Strengthening Community through Collaboration, Communication, Connection & Creativity
Pamela Hoke, local artist and brand communications strategist announces her candidacy for Mayor of Friday Harbor for the November 2025 election. Hoke recently received her EMPA (Executive Master of Public Administration) from the University of Washington’s Evan School of Public Policy and Social Governance, and plans to share the latest research and approaches for adaptive and collaborative leadership to help strengthen her community with a resilience strategy that genuinely serves all. “This summer will be my 12th summer in Friday Harbor, and I am graced to have gotten to know so many brilliant and creative souls here.” says Hoke. “This community helped me face the most challenging decade of my life, and my hope to have this opportunity to serve.”
Active in her painter career with a studio at Windy Gallery & Studios, Pam has decades of experience as a brand designer and strategist, and has helped hundreds of small businesses and entrepreneurs create and launch solid brands that align with their natural skills and talents. She hopes to apply her adaptive and collaborative approach to help strengthen her community, so Friday Harbor can be a model to inspire other towns to become more economically resilient and thrive as a collaborative community that fairly serves all.

      New Moon Sound Bath
Etiquette:
Please be aware that you will be in close quarters with other sound bathers. This event is held upstairs, if you require special accommodations, please reach out to me directly. This space is intended to be still and restful so that you and your fellows can sink deeply into a healing zone. Please use the bathroom before the start of the bath, be mindful of your own space and of the individuals around you so that everyone can receive the wellness that they seek from these sound healing journeys. Thank you for helping create an amazing experience.
I look forward to seeing you there!
Blessings, Helen
